Any 30-50 yr-olds looking to get a flat stomach & tone up?

Hello all,

I'm fairly new to MFP. Like many here, just looking for some support from motivation from others who can relate. I'm 42 year old dad of a 3-yr old. Once she came along, my once fairly active lifestyle came to a screeching halt. I thought I would be able to just pick up where I left off, but that has been difficult. I used to just be a plain skinny ectomorph and could eat whatever I wanted, but now add age + bad diet + lack of sleep + stress and I've got the usual result of a spare tire that ain't going anywhere without some work!

My plan (starting today!) is to get on a relatively simple 4-day split weight lifting routine to tone up and build muscle.

I'd like to connect with some like-minded folks who have a similar set of circumstances. We can compare notes, etc.
