Drinking a bottle of wine a night! Should I cut back!?!?!

It's like my daily ritual usually! After work I hit the gym, shower up, dinner with wine...............and wine night cap afterwards. I know they say a glass of wine a day is good for your heart. Im averaging about a bottle of Merlot a night. Do you think I might be overdoing it a bit?
But I do the following to keep healthy:
I do work out alot
I take a daily multivitamin
drink alot of water throughout my day!

Drinking alcohol lowers testosterone and is couterproductive to working out.

Maybe go to the DR and have them check your blood? That's really the only way to tell if it's affecting your health negatively or not.
Anyways, I think you knew the answer to this question before it was posted.0 -
Did you just copy and paste from the last 'drinking a bottle a night' thread you did a few months ago? Lol0

A bottle of wine a night? That is anywhere between 800 - 1000 calories. You look like you are in great shape in your profile picture but it's definitely not good for you...0

I can't imagine it's good for your liver!0

My company does yearly blood screens for lower insurance premiums...
Last year I was 20 lbs lighter, 2 inches smaller around the waist, 30% stronger, and could easily run under 24 min 5ks. However my blood pressure was borderline hypertension and my cholesterol was above 250. Over the past year I have eaten worse and endured more stress, the one positive change is that I lowered my alcohol consumption considerably (about half a bottle of wine a night to 1 glass a week). This year my blood work isurprisinly mproved across the board (chol 205, lowest it's ever been).
I'll admit, I felt healthier and more "alive" a year ago from today, but the numbers don't lie.
I may have had the bigger, sexier engine under the hood a year ago, but the oil running through the engine was crap and would eventually tear it up. I'd rather have clean the clean oil running my engine efficiently for the long run. Now I'm focusing on getting that sexy engine back...0 -
^Yeah, I'm with her! Girls got the right idea.0
