Are MRT and circuit training the same?

Are metabolic resistance training(MRT) and circuit training the same?

And are either effective if I'm only using body weight?

Also, can someone give me a sample workout for either (without basic lunges, I can't do them)?

I've been doing this:
Squats with side leg lift
Slower mountain climbers (the impact hurts my ankles if I go too quickly)
Standing - elbow to opposite knee ab exercise (kind of like a standing bicycle crunch)
Donkey kicks, resting on forearms
V-Sit w/bicep curl and incline chest press (5lbs weights)
jump rope or side lunge (depending on what I'm feeling like that day or that circuit)

I preform each exercise for 1 minute with 20 seconds rest in between each move. I repeat the circuit 3 times for a total of 24 minutes w/ a 5 minute warm up and cool down on an exercise bike. Does this sound effective? I'm aiming for 2 days of this and 3 days of HIIT on the bike for 20 minutes and a steady paced 30 minute ride after those 20 minutes.
