I've been really fed up this past week or so:frown: TOM not helping, but I've generally been very down. I decided to cheer myself up by having a 'non-diet' lunch.
I've been craving smoked salmon & cream cheese bagels, so thought I'd treat myself!
I had 2:embarassed: and a Martini to wash them down:drinker:
But I promised myself that if I had them, I wouldn't beat myself up about it, I'd just enjoy them & not feel guilty. So that's what I did.
I just logged them & my naughty martini onto my food diary, along with breakfast & tonights dinner & guess what.....? I'm still under calories for today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:noway:

So not only did I have the lunch I've been craving, but I actually don't need to feel guilty about it!!!! It was so worth it!! Yum Yum!!!

Happy Friday!!!

Very nice!! I LOVE smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels - with lots of black pepper and lemon juice, mmmmmm...!! Great choice, and awesome news on not going over on your calories - well done!

FWIW- may I suggest - you go to the MFP food database and check into the foods you love. You may be very surprised and pleased! We can have preconceived ideas about what food is "bad" and what you shoudl avoid. if you get the calories count on your favorite foods , you may be able to incorporate thenm into your every day food planning more often. In my experiendc3 - if you cut out a food - youaremore likely to crave it and/or binge. Feelings of guilt and thinking of food as a "treat' can lead to very unhealthy views of food! Ok - must stop ...I tend to get cr@p for comments. As I said ..please...FWIW:wink:
