sore knees

I have noticed recently that when i do squats and when i am at step areobics my knees feel funny and get a bit stiff, i dont want to damage them but i really enjoy the class, is there anything i can take to help them?

    I wonder if your squat form may need some improvement? If you can, have someone with experience on doing squats watch your form.

    When it comes to squats, the two areas that often need adjustment so as to take strain off the knees is 1) to be certain that your going low enough to where your quads are parallel to the ground (this actually takes tension off the knees); and 2) have your knees point out a bit, such as at 11:00 and 1:00 positions instead of straight forward. Some people prefer straight forward, but most people need to have them pointing outward a bit so as to provide some relief on the knee during the descent and ascent.

    Thanks, i think il need to re look at how i do my squats, think i might be having my legs so close together when doing them
