I went a whole week without rice and then gave in to some rice on the weekend! Is there any healthier substitutes that I can eat instead of "rice" with my meats?

  • You can have brown rice or couscous or instead of rice have some nice stir fried veggies!

A handful of nuts goes great with some meat.

I eat rice a lot and I find that 160 calories for 3/4 cup is really worth it.

You can eat rice (white), just don't eat a lot of it. I eat rice pretty much every night.

Are you sure you are eating enough? A lot of people come here thinking that they MUST eat 1200 calories a day to lose weight. That is almost always not the case.

I will need to cut down on my rice portions then! :)
