HI guys, if there is already a forum/group for this please feel free to link me. Many thanks.

So I did 160 squats today and felt nothing. But at 135 I felt a burn? I mean, I did them all at once and at a rhythm that allowed my breathing to become heavier and my heart rate to increase. I made my partner (poor thing) watch me to make sure I was doing them properly, but I'm still not feeling a burn.

I have to point out at this stage that I cannot use weight as I have some nerve compression issue with my back which has just about crippled me and stopped any kind of weight lifting. I now use the recumbent bike, walk a lot and do squats and that's about as much as I can do right now.

So why I am I not feeling a burn? Is it because of the gradual increase of the amount of squats I do or is this a completely new phenomenon and I'm a freak?!

Opinions please *hides behind cushion as she opens herself up to the ruthless world of the internet*

Many thanks,

Pema.
