Oh my goodness, is this delicious! I came up with the recipe and had to brag about it.
For an individual portion-
2 Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls (180 calories)
1/4 cup fat free ricotta cheese (60 calories)
6 slices Hormel Turkey Pepperoni (25 calories)
4 slices Oscar Mayer 98% fat free ham (40 calories)
1 large onion slice, chopped (5 calories)
1/4 cup frozen spinach (9 calories)
1 Babybel light cheese, torn into pieces (20 calories)
1/4 cup Ragu Homestyle Pizza Sauce (30 calories)
TOTALS for MEAL- 399 calories, 34g carbs,15g fat, 29g protein, 3g fiber, 1690mg sodium
I took the crescent rolls and flattened them, pushing down to make a pizza type base. Then put the toppings all inside. I left the Ragu out and figured I could dip the stromboli in it while eating. I then rolled it all up and sealed the edges by pressing down and placed in the oven on a no stick baking sheet for 11 minutes on 375 degrees.
It is really delicious. The sodium is kind of high but even so- I'm sure it's nothing like what a pizza shop stromboli would be.
