Pre- and Post-Workout Snacks

I was wondering what people have before and after their workout. I notice my endurance varies depending on whether I've eaten and what I've eaten. (I know, pretty obvious) I want to make sure I get the most out of my workout, especially since I started 30DS. So I was hoping to get some ideas.

    post snack normally greek yogurt and banana within 30 mins of working out

    Pumpkin cheesecake before, chocolate protein shake after. My diary logs those everyday. I'm losing fat and seeing personal bests in the gym nearly every time I go.
