    Quirky barrista with a boyfriend who is secretly an agent for the KGB. When she finds out he's with the Russians she embarks on a quest to untangle the sordid lies of their past to separate the truth and fiction of their relationship. By the end, she realizes he is actually a double-agent and one of the good guys and their relationship was on rock-steady footing the whole time. And she's pregnant, yay!

    It's a shame because that sort of typecast character only works in very particular plots.
