Dripped.... More or less? or just the same?

Hi, I have a question, but first I will explain. I have Crohn's disease (simple explanation for those not familiar, it is an inflammatory bowel disease, with the inability for the intestinal tract to properly break down and absorb nutrients and food and what this most often equals is really bad diarrhea pretty much always and often uncontrolable). Sorry for the graphic explanation.:blushing:
Now, through the SCD diet (Specific Carbohydrate Diet-in which you only eat simple (mono) carbohydrates) which I began two years ago this past April, things are very normal in the bathroom department. :blushing: Like everyone on this site, I am overweight and trying to get rid of the excess. BUT, I don't know if I am acurately counting the yogurt calories and I do eat a fair amount of it. On this diet I make my own yogurt which is fermented for 24 hours (usual fermentation for yogurt is approx. 4 hours). Why 24 hours? Because in the 24 hour fermentation time, the Lactose (complex sugar) is almost completely eaten up by the bacteria, making it a lot easier for the body to digest and absorb.
Now, once my yogurt is fully fermented, I put it in a collander lined with a cotton cloth and drip it until it is close to cream-cheese consistency. (dripping it is a personal thing, I'm not crazy about soupy yogurt (which homemade can be since it hasn't had powdered milk products and other thickeners added to it .
So my question is: Does say 3/4 cup of my dripped yogurt (made from 20% low fat milk) equal the 120 calories most places say that 20% low fat plain yogurt contains or does it equal more calories because it has been dripped and there is literally more milk yogurt product per 3/4 cup with the whey removed, or is it less calories per 3/4 cup because the lactose sugar has been changed/eaten the whey poured away? (?tongue twister?)
Haa, haa, I guess I have a second question: Does anyone know if there is a place in the US or Canada, which will figure out the calories/nutritients of such a food? (I tried googling, but didn't get far and maybe wasn't asking properly).
I appreciate any thoughts or ideas on the subject, THANK YOU!
PS, if anyone out there that I can help with information on IBD's and where I found all my help, I am happy to help you out:flowerforyou:
