I have been tracking my food and exercise for over a year on another site. Every time I went to search for nutritional information on google My Fitness Pal would come up. So, I decided to switch over to here a few days ago. I would like to encourage anyone just starting to log food and exercise. It has really been a big help to me. I find that when I don't log my food is when I do the worst. Make it a habit.

Welcome to MFP! I think you'll find that it's easier to log food here than other sites and the community is very supportive. I grew up about 45 minutes west of you, btw. Feel free to add me if you're looking for supportive friends.0
