Going to Vegas - running suggestions on strip

I'm going to Vegas for the weekend and won't have a car. Any suggestions for running while I'm there? Would like to do it outside and not the treadmill if I can. I've seen some posts that early morning on the Strip will work. Has anyone done that or have any suggestions for routes? Thanks!
