How do i begin?

I've started doing this properly about 20 days ago. It is hard at first but I'm finding cutting out the "dodgy" carbs (white bread, pasta, pastries, potatoes and switching from beer to spirits etc)and I''ve actually got more energy and "feel" better.
I've lost about 11lbs in this time (but I have been hitting the gym). I do allow one day for "carb loading" which basically is eating all the rubbish that I deny myself during the week.

There is lots of information out there, you should have a good read before deciding to start.
Basically you eat under 50g of carbs a day, eat 1g per pound lean body mass of protein and eat the rest of your calories as fat.0 -
Check out http://www.reddit.com/r/keto and there's an FAQ on the right side. I'm following that, just started yesterday, but I've been reading about it for a couple weeks. There's a whole community of keto'ers there.0
