Diabetes, exercise calories and additional carbs

I am a Type 2 diabetic and trying to manage my BS with diet and exercise. I often burn an extra 1000+ physical activity calories. I feel like I need at least half of those back, but that ends up causing a larger carb intake than I can have and still keep my BS in check. Is there a correct amount that your carbs can increase by with exercise calorie allowance. My goal is at, or below, 100gm carbs per day.

Anyone have an answer or know of a sight where I would find one?

You don't hae to eat any of those calories back. Find a set amount of calories that you can eat everyday and gradually lose weight. If you stop losing weight, lower the calories. Conversely, if you are losing too quickly then increase the calories. It would probably also be beneficial to eat a somewhat low carb diet that contains little to no sugars and absolutely no processed sugars. This will decrease the necessity for insulin secretion and will thus control your blood sugar better. When you make these changes to your diet you will need to check your blood sugar more frequently until you familiarize yourself with how it effects your bs.
