Sugar help

I go WAY over my sugar that is set by MFP daily. But the only things I am gettnig sugar from are whole fruits (I eat 3 servings/day) and non fat greek yogurt. Should I be concerned? Could this be afftecting my weightloss. I am currently ina plataeu and I just want to be sure this has nothing to do with it.

Sugar doesn't prevent weight loss. If you are in a calorie deficit, it doesn't matter what the macro is, weight loss will occur. Just make sure you are eating enough. With 20 lbs to lose, your goal should be 1 lb per week. Also, if you breast feed, you need an additional 300-500 calories and if you exercise, you should be eating at least 50% of those exercise calories.

I always go over my sugar too but if it is from fresh fruits and veggies it's okay in my book! :flowerforyou:

Really any advice on my diary would be helpful! I am in a stand still so I would love to know if I could/should do something different.

Unless you're diabetic, pre-diabetic, or hypoglycemic, or unless you're on some spiffy new "all pastries and ice cream" diet, there's very little reason to track sugar separately from other carbs. It's just a carb, after all. So long as you're within calorie goals and near targets for protein, fat, and carbs, you're probably okay.

Your body can't tell if the sugars it's breaking down were from fruits or fruit pies.

A few questions. What are your stats? Height and weight? Also, do you nurse and what is your workout routine? I have a feeling you are a little light in your calories, but I will confirm with more information.
