Measuring on ones self

Where are you supposed to measure on one's self? I have been losing a little weight but I never have measured myself to see if I am losing inches and I know you should.

I keep a record of my neck, upper arm, bust, without a bra (at the largest part), under the breast (ribcage), waist, hips, true hips (without the hangy belly over them), thigh and calf.

I hate mentioning that part about the hips, but it's true that the belly gets in the way ----> for now.

That sounds like a lot, but really, it goes pretty quickly.

I always measure bust with a bra on--at fullest point. Otherwise, I'd be getting a waist measurement!!

I do neck, each bicep, true waist, hips, and each thigh (around the largest part).

I measure my neck, upper bust, center bust, lower bust, around my bell button, 5'5 inches below my belly button, my thighs, calves and biceps. I also measure the smallest part of my waist, which isn't my waist but its where my pants sit.

I started measuring my body where Lane Bryant measures for clothing sizes to kind of get an idea of what size clothing I fit into now. Knowing your measurements for under your bust and at the fullest portion of your bust helps to find bra size which us girls know can be difficult to get in store.
