I have a Polar FT7 and I love it, but I'm starting to wonder how accurate it is. I just completed a strength training workout that lasted for about an hour and a 30 minute stretch workout and according to my HRM it says I burned 830 calories in 88 minutes. Im starting to wonder about the accuracy of this as I've been trying to eat my calories back for the most part and haven't lost any real weight. A significant portion of this could be due to muscle gain and water retention, but it may also be my calorie intake being off due to the hrm.
Has anyone else had any accuracy issues with Polar HRM?
