I am run/walking a 5k tomorrow, what, if any, excercise should I do today?

I would take a rest day today or at minimum, take a leisurely walk but you will need your energy for tomorrow. Good luck, I am doing my first 5K in Sept and I am hoping to be able to run the whole thing but we will see, right now I have to walk some of it!

I would also suggest a rest day or just a short walk if you do anything. Good luck on the 5K! I recently did my first one too.

maybe a short walk, but what would really do you some good would be to get a good stretch routine for the day. I have p90x and the day before I do a 5k I do stretch X which is a lite 45 minutes stretch. Hope that helps. good luck on the run tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing! I am just beginning my "running" career. I plan to run 2 min / walk 2 mins. My goal for tomorrow is to finish under 40 mins. However, my overall goal is to one day soon...RUN the entire way like you!!

Good Luck Girls!!!!!!!!!!! Let's keep moving!!!

I think most people would take a rest day before the big day.....Try and eat foods that will fuel your body...and get lots of water in the system

Also the day of...I would get up early enough to get a filling meal in and start hydrating the body early

    Goodluck

I wanted to finish in 40 minutes, but it was sooo hot. I wasn't prepared for the heat. I finished in 46 mins. :/
I will be participating in another one on June 6th. I hope to shave some mins off my time.

Nice work. Imagine how many people would not even attempt what you have accomplished. Good luck on the run next weekend. Let us know how you do: )
