quickest way to lose water weight?

so im in a weightloss competition an im trying to lose like 3-4 pounds(of water weight ofcourse) in 3-4 day.

What are some things i can do, and eat to lose water weight?
what are things that you have done?

    drink water! sounds crazy but i think it works a little like food in that if you have too little, your body will hold on to whatever it gets.

    when my wife's water broke, it was like 5 pounds insta on the floor.

    Get pregnant, wait 9 months, let water break.

    ..also peeing will get rid of it fast!

    Everytime I start a diet I increase drinking water, cut down on dairy and carbs, and always lose 5 lbs first week. Good luck in the competition!

    Intense cardio to burn off mainly glucose stores, which includes water stored with it.

    Keep carbs at below 100 g a day though until weigh in so you don't replenish them, and only eat the carbs when you'll be moving for the next 3-4 hrs after meal so you use rather than store those carbs.

    Keep that up though, and you can easily burn off muscle mass too, and with it only providing 600 calories per lb in energy, easier to burn a lb of muscle than lb of fat.
    So be very careful - much harder to get that lb of muscle and higher metabolism back.

    Low sodium meals all around.

    low sodium, low carb, drink tons of water, workout...but this also seems pretty silly. Who cares about water weight?

    warm lemon water first thing in morning and on through the day:smile: (great for digestive tract and vitamin C)

    I remember wrestlers in school chewing sugarless gum and spitting their saliva out into cups. They also wore garbage bags under their track suits and sat in steam rooms to lose water and make weight. ridiculously unhealthy.

    so, to be realistic, reduce sodium, increase your water intake. no alcohol. no caffeine. cardio.

    Drink clean fluids and sweat.

    I'm not endorsing or recommending that exact product but I got one and it worked but they do seem to rip easily. You can buy neoprene but they are more expensive.

    ^^THIS!! Salt is your biggest enemy for water retention.

    I've heard those things that you wrap around your waist and legs when you work out will help you lose water weight, but never tried it. They're pretty cheap if you can stomach going to Walmart. I can't.

    Hey, I used to work at Walmart, its not that bad!
    .....okay yes, it is that bad.

    But anyway, agreed with what everyone else is saying, low sodium, drink lots of water.
