what should I be doing?

I'm 5'7, about 115lbs and I really want to start toning my stomach up, it's small but just really needs tightening. I started running today and it's something I want to keep up, but would this contribute to tightening my stomach? Are there any other exercises I should be looking at? Apologies for all the questions I've just never been one to exercise much before!

You could just add in an abdominal routine with things like bicycle kicks, leg raises, and crunches but I would say to start a strength routine that works out the rest of your body as well. I know, I know. You don't want to add in too much muscle but the stronger your muscles are the more easily they're visible at higher body fat percentages. Keep the running and add in strength if you're really wanting to see those abs. Running does work your central abdomen and obliques but it's not hitting them as hard as you could do if you concentrated on them.
Of course continue to eat well because none of that pretty muscle is visible if you're overweight.
This might be of interest to you.

Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack or other ab workout DVD. To build nice stomach you need to exercise all muscle groups in the area, that's why doing for example just crunches is not enough, you need variety.0
