38 year old single mom with 25-35 lbs to lose

Hi there!

Well I'm finally getting serious. Usually when I get motivated enough I'll stick with a program, and I feel like I've reached my "ok time to get serious" point.

I've added a few friends from Facebook but they don't log in everyday and would love to have some more friends with similar goals and challenges to encourage each other.

I'm 5'8 and currently about 196 lbs. I'd love to get down to 160, but I know I tend to pack on muscle when I add a lot of exercise, so I'll see how I look and feel at 170ish.

I just started back this week with clean eating and exercise, slowly getting back into it after a 3-month hiatus due to a knee injury.

I like to run and although I've never won any records (I'm about a 12-10 minute pace depending on fitness) I've done several races of varying distances (but only 1 marathon, that's a lot of training time!) I'm also determined to start up with my nemesis- weight lifting.
