Dreamfields "low carb" pasta. Verification

Anyone have any scientific evidence for this stuff?
For those who are unaware, this pasta claims through a "patent pending process" that most of the carbs in the pasta are "locked away" where your body cannot process them.
Well I've read some stuff online about it (mostly that it's bunk, and I tend to agree, too good to be true and all that), but wondered if anyone of the peeps here have any first hand knowledge of the stuff.
For anecdotal evidence, I had some for lunch, with the mindset that the claims of the pasta maker are worthless. Now, it is good pasta if nothing else, but about 3 hours after I had eaten it, my blood sugar dropped (type 2 diabetic), which has never happened and should never happen with something like pasta, and now I'm wondering if there is some truth to their claim.
