Coping with stress when you are a comfort eater

I am stressed out at the moment about something family related and I was doing really well with my weight loss. Yesterday something happened causing me loads of stress at the moment and now I just can't be bothered. I am a comfort eater and I already 'slipped' tonight when I ate a bar of chocolate and can of full sugar coke in the one go. I just can't get out cycle of comfort eating when stressed or feeling down :frown:

Walking, instead of picking up a bar of candy, go for a 30 minute walk. It WILL help you clear your mind, raise your dopamine levels so you feel happier and you'll get exercise in. But realistically, a little bit of chocolate wont kill you, but it will tempt you to eat more and continue with the comfort eating.0

Also if you want to binge, binge on hard boiled eggs only.0
