Calorie In-take and Settings Question

I've been using the app for about 50 days or so, I've changed my settings quite a few times from losing 2 pounds a week to losing 1 pound a week, even to losing 1.5 a week. I am curious on if it is better to have the 2 pounds a week so that I will be more careful with what I eat and for the whole mind thing or should I go with 1 pound a week and give myself some leverage? Also I wondered about eating back your calories lost in exercising. I have read quite a few posts and seen very different answers, is it more of a controversial thing? I've been burning about 200-400 calories a day. Also is that too much or too little?
