New and would love highly motivating friends/CT???/BMR TDEE?

Hello all! Here I am...All in and ready to begin my journey! A new lifestyle and a positive future...I am here on MFP but I am no stranger to weight loss. Was at my highest in high school of 175lbs and worked myself down to 150lbs...Over time and plenty of learning I did reach and overall goal of 125lbs but like many...life, inconsistancy, emotions, and all those other excuses I allowed get in my way...Sadly I let myself go and reached 150lbs again........There is no one to blame and I acknowledge my wrongs but now...now I am ready to get back on track and take back that control...Now and FOREVER!
*Looking for friends and motivators that offer that tough love type of motivation...I will be making contact with friends giving advice and cheering on and am looking for the same...Tell me when I need to pick up the pace or when I should be watching my intake on something, I need it! haha I didn't get to where I am from being extremely healthy and active right?! haha I am also not really looking to just add people to make my friend list look big! Looking forward to supporting you as much as I hope you are for me as well!
**MFP gave me an intake of 1200 calories a day...YIKES...Now I know that is notttt good lol how did you come to your daily calorie intake? I am seeing a lot of ppl figuring out their BMR and TDEE...What calculators online seem to be most reliable? I think I am going to go towards that and tweek it to how my body responds. After all I know we are all different.
***I am going to be browsing around the next couple of days and totally beginning my journey on Sunday...I see MFP begins their week on Mondays...Is there any way of changing that? I do not see a personalization for that but I may be wrong...Either way I will begin it all hands down no turning back on Sunday but MFP will be be showing my total week starting that Monday.

I would try a few sited to gather BMR and TDEE and then take the average.....some other sites are fitnessfrog and fat2fitradio......hope this helps0

I am new to this too - have been a yo-yo dieter all my life - I am currently at my highest weight ever for non-pregnant life - I am pretty horrified with how far I've let myself go. I have a goal to lose 30 lbs. - I am looking for support too - honest feedback, a place to share struggles and go on this journey with others.....I know what to do, just have to really do it. My biggest weakness is wine - I like it, love it - when I drink it, I then lose my motivation - I'm hoping to get my life back in order - hopefully we can motivate each other.0
