Exercise is the most potent and underutilized antidepressant... and it's free!!

This is so true!! I would say I'm addicted to working out... I feel like a new person when I'm done. My mental health is so much better with consistent exercise. So I challenge you even on those days you are feeling blah, go workout! You need it. Those are usually the days you need it most; days you really don't want to.

So were you having a day that you didn't want to get that workout done? Did you do it or not? Tomorrow don't slack off. Keep at it!! I know you will feel better.

I have suffered from depression for a couple years now. I went off my anti's in the end of December because all of them were making me feel weird (internal zaps) and almost made my symptoms worse. Jan 2nd, I started counting calories and exercising regularly. I have never felt better. Coincidence? Maybe? But I think the exercise has helped immensely.
