Calories burned on HRM compared to MFP

Is there a way to quick add calories for exercises? My Polar FT4 shows that I am burning a lot more calories than MFP says I am. The only way I can think of doing it is adding extra time without creating a new exercise and manually putting in the calories burned per minute every time I exercise.
Is there another way of doing it?
Thank you in advance!

I made an entry that say "HRM" and I just enter that and change the calories each time. I definitely trust my HRM a lot more than MFP when I train so I just enter it each time.
I'll be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts.0 -
I manually put mine in because my heart rate monitor is always way different than the MFP calories burned. You shouldnt have to change the exercises to change the calories.0

Ahh yes that does make so much more sense! I don't know what I was thinking. Ha ha. Thank you!0
