mmm, ice cream..... One big splurge won't knock you too far off track! We all need a big treat once in awhile. Walk an extra few minutes and drink extra water tmrw, no worries.

it was either that or cry

family is wearing me down with too much responsibility, work sucks, it is a good paying job with benefits, but the crap I try to ignore......

Trying to get power of attorney over my mom, picking up the pieces of my sisters life after the death of her son...

Love to draggg and the season is here and I am so exhausted from all the above.

I would say Calgon take me away, but I am so above Calgon right now.....

I am still exercising and eating right, but man, I need a break...

The word NO sounds good, but it is so hard!!!!

You deserved something, and if that blizzard tasted good, then I hope you enjoyed it. May God bless you and things get easier for you soon :flowerforyou:

With all you are dealing with right now that 600 cals. should be no big deal. You deserved it. Tomorrow is a new day and you will get right back on track. :flowerforyou:

600 calories is not going to ruin your plan. Just do your best to get back on track, that's all you can do. Crying is ok too, sometimes it is the only thing that helps me. :flowerforyou: good luck

You go girl!! With everything on your plate you are doing awesome. Just blip over that and keep on going. Who knows, maybe it will give your metabolism a shot in the arm :drinker:

With everything else you have to stress about don't add that splurge to the list. The only regret you should have about that blizzard is that you didn't give yourself a chance to relish it. God bless you. I hope things get better for you. :flowerforyou:

Don't worry about it too much! I know at some point over the weekend I'm going to go try the new blizzard at Dairy Queen, which is awful, cause it's like I'm planning on sabotaging myself, but it just looks so good, and I usually don't like icecream, but this one keeps calling my name lol!! I know that I will feel 100% guilty after I do it, maybe I'll get one and split it with hubby for half the guilt!!
  • I prefer to think of this as a life long road trip and firmly believe that straying off of the healthy eating superhighway once in a while gives me the opportunity to explore those fun back roads and enjoy the sights. Never feel guilty for enjoying yourself occasionally, it keeps you sane.
  • Sometimes you have to splurge. I know eating is not the best way to deal with emotional issues, but sometimes you need the pick me up. I am stressed right now... big time!! School and work are killing me, I am a single mother of a small child and my best friend just got a new boyfriend and acts like I do not exist. So if I eat a cup of ice cream or a piece of cake so be it. Actually after venting like that I do not feel so bad. But if once in a while we treat ourselves, I think it makes this change in llifestyle more bearable.
