Stronglifts, NROLFW, something else??

I recently cancelled my gym membership for certain reasons but luckily, have found some old weights of my brother's up the attic yesterday (score, saves me buying any for now! :)) I want to have a proper lifting routine and I've seen mentions of Stronglifts 5x5 and New Rules of Lifting for Women on here. Out of the two, which is most recommended? Or perhaps something else entirely??

Also, although I'm not too concerned about the scale or dress size these days as I want to focus more on toning, I'm already at my target weight (actually under) so do I need to eat at a maintenance or surplus in order NOT to lose pounds/inches?

I haven't read the NROLFW book, but have tried StrongLifts 5X5. It was crazy how strong I got so fast. This workout does take some time in learning proper form, but I think it's totally worth it. I stopped because of some needed surgery, but plan to get back as soon as my Dr gives me the okay. Good luck!
