I'd say do whatever type of exercise interestes YOU. If you are bored with a paticular activity, you will be less likely to stick with it.

Why do you have a timeframe for the weight loss?

Ha! Good luck losing that quick. Chill out a bit. You didn't get fat that quick, takes a long time to lose it.
  • it is definitely do-able -

mix it up to find what u like

    u could try:

jillian michaels dvds - they are great for toning and fat burn - hard to start off with - but stick with it and u should be able to do the whole 1st level routine in a week/10 days

walk/jog/walk programme - 4x pw for about 30 min each day - until u get to point of being able to jog the whole time
    swimming

    cycling

hand weights 'body building' for toning programme - http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/girard10.htm

see what your local leisure centre offers

walking - about an hour of brisk walk - as a mode of transport to work/town/shopping - or as a leisure (local park/trail)

    good luck

First of all, the more stressed you are bout time limits the more cortisol in your system the less weight you'll lose.

Walking aint gunna cut it. Try strength training 3-4 x week and intense cardio for 30-60 minutes 2-3 x week. Dont workout more then an hour a day, take rest days so your muscles can repair, make sure your calories are sufficient ie. If mfp said 1200 cals, hit 1200 AND eat your exercise calories back, at least half. Drink water, lots and lots and of course change your eating habits. Im personally trying to find one thing every week to swap out or try new and different foods.

If you do that, I cant say you'll meet your deadline, what I can say is you will lose weight. Look through the forums, theres a wealth of info here.
