why doesn't this site track protein in the food tracker?

Go to My Home, select Settings and then Diary Settings. You can choose what you want to track. By default calories, fat, protein and carbs are included.0

You can change your settings so that MFP tracks whatever common nutritional information you want it to. If protein isn't coming up for you, you may just need to add it in your settings!0

The question was why doesn't it do something, I responded that it does, sounds helpful to me. Also, protein is tracked by default so all users should see this when they 1st sign up.0
