I've being doing great on not eating my grams of fat, but I've started to wonder if I need more. I've bought fat free on everything I could, so usually my fat is 15 and under. I get enough calories, carbs and protein but should I start eating more fat? Should I meet my goal? I know if you dont eat enough your body stores fat so I was thinking maybe that worked for not eating enough fat also. Thoughts peeez :-D

    hey,

here's a link to understanding the fats in your diet and why the "good fats" are important.

    http://helpguide.org/life/healthy_diet_fats.htm

The good fats should be 20 - 35% of your calories so at least try to incorporate the lower number.

The analogy I like to use when asked is one that my doctor always used............

It takes fat to burn fat in your body (and will keep you full and satisfied longer too) just like it takes gas to run your car.

I won't go into the flawed idea that some fats, such as saturated fats are bad as it will just start a debate that I don't feel like engaging in.
