Tonight theres a big party on and I think I've been doing pretty good so I really want to drink tonight, could anyone give me advice on how many calories I should consume during the day before drinking so I don't gain as much weight? Should I still eat my 1800 - 2000 cals a day or should I go down to 1400 - 1500cal so I can fit in a few drinks?

yeah, save some cals. you'll be fine eating only 1400, with a few hundred extra for some fun.0

Get a huge calorie burning workout. Then you will have an excess of calories to burn.0

I would rather add some buffer room with exercise than restrict diet too much. Or maybe a little of each?0

Last weekend my sister her hubby and I all went out on the town. I drank (GOD KNOWS I drank) Even had pizza at the end of the night to help sober my self up so I could get home safely.. BUT earlier in the day I had gone to the gym. That night while out we walked and dance for 5 hours! And the next am I took my daughter swimming! Burned off the alcohol and the pizza before, during and after my drunk-capades! lol Enjoy yourself!0 -
I just plan ahead what I'll drink and look up the calories. A happy medium.... So I won't blow 400 cals on a mixed drink that's awesome and want another, I WILL be satisfied with what I already planned that is low cal and if I "fudge it" a little & go over it won't be that bad.
The times I don't plan ahead is when I get in trouble... after a few good drinks I find I can justify eating & drinking whatever I want with either saying "screw it" or making promises to myself about future exercises.
Just plan ahead what you'll drink, what it'll cost you & do your best to stick to it. AND HAVE FUN!!!0
