Back home from college...HELP!

I just finished my second year in college, moved back home for the summer, and I'm struggling with eating healthy like I did when I was at my dorm. It was so much easier because I could plan my meals ahead of time. Now that I'm at home, my family (who are all over-weight) surrounds me with unhealthy eating habits, like going out to eat almost EVERY DAY. Especially my mom, who will cook every day but mostly unhealthy things and then she'll be upset if I don't eat it or make something else.

It's so frustrating not having a good support system at home and they usually dismiss my weight loss goals because they don't think I can achieve it. Does anyone have any experience with this and any tips to overcome it?

Hi, I am in EXACTLY the same situation! I have just come back from university for summer, and I lost 20lbs over the last term at uni. But, I didn't tell my family that I was dieting, so they do not know to support me. They have not noticed that I lost weight which gives me very little motivation to continue losing. I have been back for a few weeks and have really struggled to eat healthily. Because my parents are at work during the day I can easily eat a healthy lunch, then a great suggestion for dinner is to cook for your family yourself, this means you are fully in control of what you eat and you can make sure its healthy (and score great brownies points with your mum!) I hope this helps a tiny bit! But I know how you feel- it's so tough and really tests your will power with so much unhealthy food tempting you!
