Hello. I would like to see diaries of people to get some ideas. Also, I would like to get some feedback on my own diary. There is always room for improvement, and I would like to hear what you have to say.

Its not a bad diary but your MFP database choice is wrong about the one cup of white rice, it is over 200 calories, not 149 calories. You may also want to consider changing it to brown rice or quinoa.

I have a healthy cooking facebook page where I show lots of pictorial recipes as well as other healthy and delicious eating ideas. Please feel free to check it out:

I should explain a bit more...

I'm currently deployed. No fresh vegetables or fruit. It's either canned or frozen. Brown rice, quinoa...no dice. I try to make do with what they serve here and have other things (i.e. protein powders, supplements, almond milk) shipped to me. I have no facilities to cook or even prepare a meal. I do however, have a microwave. As far as the white rice...I ate .75 of a cup that day...the database has hundreds of entries for white rice. I think what they serve here is bagged/vacuumed rice that they reheat...it doesnt have the texture of fresh cooked rice, so who knows on that one.
