my favorite take- along meals are rather simple but we find them yummy I bring prepared fruit (washed and, if necessary, cut up), unsweetened iced tea, quinoa salad (a fresh lemon- olive oil dressing, roasted veggies and herbs) and a couple small raw cookies (figs, dates, coconut, cacao powder, chia seeds and PB2 all chopped up in the processor, rolled onto balls, squished into patties and rolled in puffed rice or chopped nuts). It all keeps well without ice (the salad is nice at room temp or warm and it won't hurt it) and keeps us full and fueled without being "heavy". :flowerforyou:0
