Jawbone Up or similar Accuracy and Results

I have just purchased a Jawbone up and am eagerly awaiting its arrival! I just wondered if those who have tried it or similar devices could tell me if they have found the calorie burn accuracy about right and if so has it led to you losing weight because you have used this device calorie count plus deficit?

I am currently using TDEE less 20% and I am hoping that the up band will give me a more accurate calorie range for me than the scooby calculator as it will be more based on me and what I do/don't do in a day.
