Hey, so I'm looking for some new kick *kitten* music to listen to while I work out to get me pumped! Whenever I get new music it always really makes me wanna go to the gym and sweat. So, what are you all listening to!?

I listen to some odd stuff, mostly techno, synth pop, goth, darkwave, etc. My favorite group to listen to when I exercise, when I do listen to music, is Ladytron. And I will fall over from shock if ANYONE on here has ever heard of them. I also like Rotersand, Diary of Dreams, and Covenant. The good thing about this kind of music is the tempo is kinda fast and very rhythmic. If you're more into rock, check out Spinnerette.

Do you have an iTunes account? If you do, there's a genre called Workout Music -- it's a bunch of music remixed at faster paces. Lots of really good ones, I recommend checking out the biggest loser ones, they tend to have more songs that I like anyway. Make sure you preview before you buy though, there were a few I thought I would like, but when I played the preview, it was remixed way too weird.

Well I can definitely say music helps me go longer and harder! (wow...that sounds a little too naughty but not intended that way)

I've been doing a song of the day here, some of the ones that I use while I walk, run, work out to vids...and just listen to for pleasure.

    Some that I've listed recently

Hello Good Morning by Dirty Money
    Undisclosed Desires by MUSE
although anything by MUSE would be great
    Animal by Neon Trees
I Made It by Kevin Rudolf
Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz
    Magnificent by U2
    Stereo Love by Edward Maya

I've heard of LadyTron. one of my friends listens to that. anyway, I like everything. mainly JT, then sometimes I like oldies or other days 80s etc. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in really. I always use supermassive black hole by Muse when I need a little extra kick because it gets me going.

Ha! Awesome! I, personally, tend to favor Knights of Cydonia. Although I do suppose I could see myself following Happyguy's lead and lifting weights to One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer.

hey it doesn't matter what you're listening to or even how old you are! If it works for you that's all that matters!!
And thank you! I'm now shopping around on itunes for some new stuff!! Yay!!

Mine has to be loud, fast & aggressive like my workouts. I usually go with something from Slayer, old school Metallica (not their new CRAP), Pantera, Megadeth, Type O Negative or Marilyn Manson.

Muse is my favorite band, and a lot of their music gets me going. Here's a list of songs currently on my running playlist!

    Muse - Uprising
    Muse - Resistance
    Muse - Easily
    Pitbull - Shut it Down
    Pitbull - Fuego
    Van Halen - Right Now
Van Halen - You Really Got Me
Spice Girls - Spice Up Your Life
    Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
Fort Minor - Remember the Name
Damone - Out Here All Night
    Collective Soul - Run
Lion King Broadway Soundtrack - He Lives in You
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
    Rammstein - Du Hast
    B-52's - Love Shack

Definitely an eclectic mix but it works for me! :)

A lot of stuff from the Black Eyed Peas has a great beat throughout the song that keeps me going on runs.
Search "isweat" on iTunes and there will be a few remixes of songs that are meant for workouts, then you can look at the "Listeners also bought" section and there will be a lot of other workout remixes.
