    Only If by Enya

If you really want to you can hear me say
Only if you want to will you find a way
    If you really want to
    You can seize the day
Only if you want to will you fly away

It has a lot of personal meaning for me. I always wanted to move to Florida (from Illinois) and took the plunge 10 years ago with no job waiting for me and lots of other uncertainties. Scary, but it was the best move of my life. I wanted to do it, and I found a way.

Now I'm training for 5Ks, something I used to think was impossible for me. But I'm seizing the day.

Baba O'Reilly by The Who. I always remember that movie trailer from the movie "American Beauty", where Kevin Spacey was getting in shape, and he's running into the streets with that song.

Now That We Found Love by Heavy D and the Boyz. It's great for walking and reminds me to keep up the pace when I'm getting tired.

The Middle by Jimmy Eat World!
Hey don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on
Just try your best, try everything you can
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be
    alright (alright)

Pear Jam did a great cover of Baba O'Reilly!! They also did a great cover of Keep on Rockin in the Free World too. This has nothing to do with your post but when I can start talking about music, sometimes I cant stop!!

my answer will probably be different on different days (and totally and utterly different, because I have a very eclectic taste in music), but for today.....

the 3rd movement of Beethoven's moonlight sonata http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqSulR9Fymg

and it has to be played right, most people don't put enough emotion and energy into Beethoven's music.

or possibly the complete sonata, can't decide... (not so keen on the 2nd movement... maybe my theme tune should go straight from the 1st to the 3rd... but then Beethoven might not approve of that and say I don't understand the 2nd movement and that's why I don't like it so much... the 3rd movement is my favourite but the 1st is also amazing...)

most people have only heard the first movement, but the entire thing is amazing:

I was told by a friend that when she hears "Hold Your Head Up" by Steppenwolf she thinks of me.

    And if it's bad
Don't let it get you down, you can take it
    And if it hurts
Don't let them see you cry, you can make it

Hold your head up, oh, hold your head up, oh
Hold your head up, oh hold your head high

    And if they stare
Just let them burn their eyes on you moving
    And if they shout
Don't let it change a thing that you're doing

Hold your head up, oh, hold your head up, oh
Hold your head up, oh hold your head high
