I love how every time you log in here, there is nothing but fast food ads up at the top.................what the???

    Never seen that one myself... I tend to get ads for FitBit or other HRMs !!!

    My adds are normally for homes.com or bark box.

    It is probably because ads are based on your cookies, and you recently looked up a places nutritional content?

    I had a FitBit ad a moment ago, but have definitely seen fast food ads.

    Banner ads are a weird process- as a page loads, the site sends out a profile of what it knows about you (age range, sex, sites recently visited) and ad-serving sites bid for the space. The ad from the highest bidder gets placed there. (And now you know why pages sometimes take time to load.)

    Maybe because so many of the posts have to do with fast food (even when it's about avoiding it)?
