Confused on which to log

So, I've been using the treadmill at the gym. Today I did 60min at speeds varying from 3.2 - 4.7. If I log it as a treadmill workout for 60 minutes, it says I burned over 700 calories. If I log it as a brisk walk, it says roughly 350. How do you know which one to use???

I split it up. If I ran for 5 minutes at 6mph, I'll put 5 mins at 6mph rather than 30 minutes of generic treadmill. Same goes for walking (brisk or otherwise) - put in the duration (I always underestimate to be safe) in separately.
Obviously, if it was a brisk walk rather than a run, I would personally put down walking at 4mph for 60 minutes.0 -
I always err on the side of caution and go with the lowest.
Was there an incline? I don't burn 700 calories in 60 minutes of running. Of course weight plays a role, but still, I'm guessing from your ticker that you don't weight much more than me.0 -
Sorry but its unlikely to be 700 calories, did the treadmill not tell you how many?0
