Confused on which to log

So, I've been using the treadmill at the gym. Today I did 60min at speeds varying from 3.2 - 4.7. If I log it as a treadmill workout for 60 minutes, it says I burned over 700 calories. If I log it as a brisk walk, it says roughly 350. How do you know which one to use???

I split it up. If I ran for 5 minutes at 6mph, I'll put 5 mins at 6mph rather than 30 minutes of generic treadmill. Same goes for walking (brisk or otherwise) - put in the duration (I always underestimate to be safe) in separately.

Obviously, if it was a brisk walk rather than a run, I would personally put down walking at 4mph for 60 minutes.

I always err on the side of caution and go with the lowest.

Was there an incline? I don't burn 700 calories in 60 minutes of running. Of course weight plays a role, but still, I'm guessing from your ticker that you don't weight much more than me.

Sorry but its unlikely to be 700 calories, did the treadmill not tell you how many?
