I realize more and more that I need a heart rate monitor. More than anything I want to track to intensity of my workouts, but I also want to know how many calories I burned. So I looked for heart rate monitors the other day and they were $100 I cannot afford to drop that kind of cash right now. I don't need the mack daddy of HRM, I just need one that gets the job done. Is there a model out there for less than 50 bucks? If so where did you purchase it?

I got mine from ebay. It's a York P30. It was about £18 which is about $26.0

I got mine, a MioPink for 59.99 just because some of the proceeds go to breast cancer but my husband's is the same but regular and it was 49.99. Both were purchased on Amazon.com. I can't live without mine now, lol.0

Check Ebay, you can buy them used (most give $$ back if retured within a week if you get it and aren't satisfied) for cheap! I got my Polar F4 for $30 and it was great!0
