hey guys,
I am constantly worring about eating to much calories every day I weigh 232 as of today I weighed 319 on jan 3 2013 there are days im 100 percent on my diet and others I have food cravings like pizza or bbq ribs and stuff..
my question is how many cheat days do you think is too much? I went from having 1-2 cheat days in 3 1/2 months to almost 1-2 a week is this bad? I beat myself up in my mind when ever I have a cheat day because I think that how I ate is going to make me gain my weight back and fall back into old habits

I cool with it. When I "cheat" like pizza with the family this week, I factor in the extra calories and still control what I'm eating, 2 slices. When I went out with "the girls" for lunch, I ordered a luscious chicken breast covered with cheese and bacon (YUMMMM) but sided it with broccoli, not steak fries. I also ate only half of the chicken breast, as it was easily about 10 oz. and saved the rest for the next day or dinner that night.
I got to eat my craved food, but I also controlled my portions. I don't think that I could just allow a full "off the books" cheat day, I know I would consume WAY to much that day and not feel good about it.0 -
Do you plan on never eating pizza, ribs, etc. ever again in your life? Probably not.
So now is the time to figure out how to fit those things into your normal, day-to-day eating habits. Depriving yourself of your fave foods is more likely to lead to binges or giving up altogether - it's totally unsustainable and unrealistic in the long run, and you're setting yourself up for failure imo.
If you want pizza - have pizza. But PLAN for it., and plan to have a reasonable serving. Log a few slices in your diary and make the rest of the day work around it, doing your best to stick to your macro and calorie goals. Stop thinking of foods as "good" or "bad" or "cheats". It's just food.0
