I've been doing the fab MFP thing for 120 days; 1/3 of a year; 4 months straight, woohoo!!

& I've lost a consistent 1.25lb per week since I started, 23lb in all, I'm 10lb away from where my goal is/ was. & I'm feeling great.

So I'm thinking of taking the stabilisers off my bike; thinking of trying to go this alone; to stop logging food basically.

This hasn't been a diet, it's a commitment to a lifestyle change; I've had my goals set at 1765 cals per day & pretty much hit it without having to check every individual thing I eat; I've eaten what I fancy & logged everything, and it comes up around the same number.

So, I'm letting go of the handlebars & seeing how I do. I'm still going to log on because I love this place, but I'm not doing my diary & I won't weigh for the next two weeks,

I'M GOING ALONE. wish me luck

Getting rid of the stabilisers and letting go of the handlebars - yikes!

Good luck, it works for some people, not for others. I would actually recommend continuing to weigh yourself if you're not going to count calories, because then at least you will be able to tell if it's not working.
