Healthiest thing to eat in school?

So I go to Cherokee high school and basically the main things we have for lunch are: Pizza (cheese or pepperoni), Uncrustable peanut butter and jelly sandwich, yogurt (sometimes), chefs salad (meat, egg, cheese, cucumber, tomato, carrots, lettuce, and the lettuce is ice-burg ): ) and we can have ranch, french, or italian dressing, then we have the meal of the day which could be a chicken sanwhich to nachos.
What do you think would be the healthiest thing for me to eat at lunch?
funkyspunky871: Nope, Colorado lol

All of those options sound like total crap...except the chef's salad..but then you need to be really careful about the dressing you put on it (1-2T of Italian).
If I were you, I'd just pack a healthy lunch and bring it to school with me.0 -
Id take my lunch0

Eat the salad with dressing on the side, or take your own lunch! Probably take your own lunch. More filling & healthier.0

Can you pack?? Have you looked at Bento boxes? I've found a TON of inspiration on flickr. Maybe that'll help ... and if not, I'd go for the salad, skip the dressing, squeeze lemon (do they have some for teachers' tea?) and go with that ... Just don't do like me. I used to skip lunch and sneak a Mountain Dew from the vending machine. I'm sure that's part of why I'm obese now ...0

the salad will be healthy if it is not heaped with meats and cheeses and the dressing is overwhelming....but you would get protein from the eggs- maybe if its TOO much meats and cheeses on the salad take half of it off, and yogurt is healthy if its low fat and not the kinds high in sugar but I dont think its filling. It also depends how the chicken sandwich is prepared if its grilled than go for that but if its a chicken patty then dont, since that really wont be healthy0
