Okay, so a year and a half ago, I was doing P90X. When I started, I could barely do any moves with Ab Ripper X. 5-10 reps on most of the moves. In 7 weeks, I had gotten up to doing almost every move (maybe 5-10 short overall), but then I got pregnant and morning sickness stopped all exercise.

Well, a couple months ago (my baby is almost 10 months now), I decided to try doing about 10 moves of each, and I couldn't do 10 of all of them, but I worked on it, until I was up to about 12 reps each about a month ago. Then I moved into a program that had something to do 5 days a week and I didn't do it for a while. Today was one of my workout days off, but I wanted to do something, so I pulled out Ab Ripper X and decided to see if I could do 15 moves each (15-20 moves is considered a light workout in the book). Well, I did it. And I felt like I could have done more. I did 25 of the Mason twist at the end, too.

Then I did 15 minutes of yoga.

I'm pumped and relaxed at the same time. And starving! I need to get breakfast on the table!!!

Good for you. I'd probably be in the Ab Ripper 100 group.
    Ha, ha.

That's awesome to hear. I do P90X but Ab ripper seems so hard. Maybe I should give it a try. When I first started P90X I could hardly do any of the moves except the easy ones, now I can keep up or surpass the 'kids' So really there is no reason I shouldn't be able to start slowly with ab ripper and then get better over time. Thanks for the inspiration.

Ab Ripper is not an easy workout, even though it's only 15 minutes. Congrats!!!

What I did when I started P90X before, I just did as many moves as I could and rested until the next set. I think I did more resting than working during the first week, but I improved rapidly. So just do your best and forget the rest! Let us know how it goes!

It IS a hard workout--that's why the X is there for Extreme! It really makes me feel good to be able to do it.
