When I was a kid, my appendix burst. Long story, but the doctors didn't believe I had appendicitis, essentially because I have a very high tolerance for pain. Because it burst, they had to do a pretty invasive surgery. My appendectomy scar is pretty large. ~1' wide and 8" long. I haven't seen it for, I don't know, a decade? I honestly don't remember the last time I saw it.

I was getting in the shower yesterday, glanced in the mirror, and realized "Hey! I can see my scar!!!".

Maybe this doesn't make sense, but to me, it was just awesome. 'Proof' that my hard work is paying off!

    Hahaha! AWESOME! I went swimming this afternoon. Took my shirt off and my wife (of ELEVEN years!) looks at me and says "What's that on your stomach?"!!!
