Splurge Weekend and I lost weight?

I worked out both Saturday and Sunday this weekend (Zumba on Saturday, Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on Sunday), but I ate terribly. I splurged and went out to eat at Red Lobster Saturday night and went way over my calorie goal that day. I didn't eat very healthily on Sunday either.
That being said I lost a half a pound over the weekend, after only losing .2lbs the entire week before.
What gives? How is it that I lost more weight when I ate like crap? Any others out there with a similar experience/advise?

Weight loss doesn't happen at a steady rate. As long as you maintain a deficit for the week or month or anything longer than a day, you should still lose weight. I don't eat completely healthy, I still eat out and usually go over my daily limit by 400 calories once or twice a week. I still lose weight and that's all that really matters to me. Some weeks I lose next to nothing and other weeks 4lbs will drop off all at once.0

When I first started on MFP I ate 1270 calories, everyday, that was it, and exercised and never ate back calories. After a month of that I went on a weekend away and ate Arby's, nachos, a huge burger and fries, drinks upon drinks and when we returned home I had lost 3 lbs. I was shocked too. I think it was my body's way of telling me though that I needed to eat more because it was "holding on" to everything it had (stored fat). I then upped my calorie intake to 1400 with a small amount of exercise calories eaten back and have been losing steadily ever since.0
