Can diet sods or the packets that you put in bottle water be counted as the water that you need to drink.

All liquid counts, soda is often diuretic (makes you pee more) and I've heard some people count only half its volume (same with coffee or tea). However, all the other stuff in there isn't that great for you, I recommend you try to go with water as much as possible.0

Yes it can be counted. Obviously you shouldn't be consuming all your liquids via pop and coffee and such but they can be counted.
Before anyone freaks out saying pop and coffee and such dehydrate you because of the caffeine, the hydrating effects of the water content outweighs the dehydrating effects of the caffeine. You also get hydration from everything you eat.0
